Tucker's Special Space

Three year old Tucker loves the outdoors--hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family at his grandparents' cabin in the woods at Kerr Lake.  But he also has a rare, genetic lung disorder that keeps him at home most of the time when he's not in the hospital or undergoing treatments.  Special Spaces of the Triangle--along with over 40 local artists, seamstresses, and volunteers--transformed Tucker's bedroom into a rustic, woodsy haven.

Our Project Linus Chapter was happy to provide a special quilt for Tucker to take when he goes for treatments.  His brothers and sister also received a blanket, as a child's illness is stressful for the entire family.
