Location Change for Make A Blanket Day

Our 2013 Make a Blanket day is less than 2 weeks away! Join us on Saturday, February 16 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Marbles Kids Museum, located at 201 East Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh.

The Make A Blanket Day event will now take place in the ZANZIBAR ROOM at MARBLES KIDS MUSEUMnot in the IMAX Theater Building as in previous years.

Enter from the outside corridor (between the two buildings), and not through the main Museum entrance.  There will be plenty of signage.  Directions to Marbles Kids Museum and parking information can be found here.
Bring your own sewing machine, crochet hooks, knitting needles, notions, etc.  Bring an existing project or start a new one!  We will have several "kits" of fabric for starting a quilt.  Fabric and yarn donations are happily accepted!  A limited supply of donated yarn, fleece and fabric will be available.

Snacks will be provided.  Bring a bag lunch or eat at nearby restaurants.
