A big thank you to a blanketeer, and a reminder
that you all make a difference!

Last week, my four year old son woke up in the middle of the night with a swollen, infected finger that was not there at bedtime. We rushed him to the Wake Med North ER and before they cut into his finger to drain the infection, they gave him one of your wonderful blankets to cuddle with. Thank you all so much for thinking of those kids who are scared and may not have their favorite stuffed animal or blanket with them at such a frightening time. He was so happy to wrap himself up in a special blanket and if definitely helped calm his nerves. Your hard work and kindness is truly appreciated! Thank you all so much!Thank you to all your volunteers, what a great way to do something special for those in a time of need!
