Hurricane Florence Relief Update
Here are the blankets that we have sent so far for children affected by Hurricane Florence:

100 blankets went to evacuees in the Maxwell Center
in Goldsboro, NC.
40 blankets were delivered to Wilmington/ New Hanover
county foster care center.
50 blankets went with a Swift Creek Middle School
teacher to Atkinson, NC's Hurricane relief program.
70 blankets went to Hurricane Florence distribution
center in Lumberton NC.
33 blankets were dropped off by Girl Scout troop #2016
from Wilson Mills along with a load of donations to
Carteret County's relief program for evacuees of
Wilmington and Atlantic Beach.

Countless thanks go to Angel and Hailey, the new
Johnston County coordinators, for delivering all of these
blankets. If YOU know of a way to get blankets to
children in need, please contact me and
we’ll work on it together.

Susie
