Preschoolers for Project Linus

For their annual service project, preschoolers at Saint Raphael Early Childhood Center in Raleigh make blankets for Project Linus.  In exchange for a non-perishable food item (which is donated to the local Food Bank), children select fabric and help sew together a quilt. Even the youngest ones understand the comfort brought by a soft, cuddly blanket.  This project is a tangible way for the children to see how combined efforts and unique contributions create something warm and beautiful, and provide comfort and help to someone in need.
