My
daughter, Marley, 7 years old, recently participated in Lemonade Day
(lemonadeday.org) through the YMCA Afterschool program at her school.
Through Lemonade Day kids get to learn how to run a business and see
what goes into earning money. After paying back her 'loan' for supplies,
Marley made about $60! She and I discussed giving part of her money to a
charity. She decided that she wanted to split her profits with a
charity that would help sick children. We searched online and found
Project Linus. Marley really wants to give to a charity that is in
Raleigh and so I was wondering if there is a way to donate to the
Raleigh Chapter of Project Linus?
When
Marley was born she was in the NICU for 4 days. She received a
blanket. I don't know if it was from Project Linus, but it was a special
connection that she made. She still has the blanket.
